DAILY REFLECTION – A UNIVERSAL SEARCH

A UNIVERSAL SEARCH
Be quick to see where religious people are right Make use of what they offer.
26 December 2024 AA Thought for the DayALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS, p. 87
I do not claim to have all the answers in spiritual matters, any more than I claim to have all the answers about alcoholism. There are others who are also engaged in a spiritual search. If I keep an open mind about what others have to say, I have much to gain. My sobriety is greatly enriched, and my practice of the Eleventh Step more fruitful, when I use both the literature and practices of my Judeo-Christian tradition, and the resources of other religions. Thus, I receive support from many sources in
staying away from the first drink.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
I have found rooms full of wonderful people,
and for me each and every one of the Big Book’s
promises have come true. Pg 475

Big Book Thought For The Day
These short readings, they’re like a bridge for us, the ones trying to stay sober, connecting us with the Big Book, our trusty companion in this journey of recovery.
And every day, when we dive into these readings, they give us something new to think about, something that helps us along our path of healing. They remind us why we’re here: to keep away from that first drink that can drag us back and to lend a hand to others striving for the same.
